About the Position

TPK Commercial Services is looking for an experienced and dependable Field Supervisor to lead commercial property maintenance and improvement work throughout the Houston area.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You’ll help organize daily work, lead field employees, coordinate tools and materials, maintain quality and safety standards, and make sure each job is completed properly.

This is not a desk-only supervisor position. You’ll work alongside the crew when needed and help set the standard for productivity, quality, professionalism, and customer service in the field.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews performing commercial property maintenance and project work
• Review job scopes and organize labor, tools, equipment, and materials
• Assign daily work and keep crews safe and productive
• Supervise landscaping, cleanup, pressure washing, temporary fencing, storm preparation, repairs, and other exterior property work
• Inspect completed work before leaving the property
• Take before, during, and after photographs for job documentation
• Communicate job progress, issues, material needs, and scope concerns to TPK management
• Help train technicians and new field employees
• Load, secure, tow, and unload trailers, equipment, and materials
• Coordinate with subcontractors when assigned
• Interact professionally with customers, property managers, tenants, and vendors
• Identify additional maintenance needs while onsite
• Help maintain company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous construction, landscaping, facilities, property maintenance, fencing, or similar field experience
• Previous experience leading employees or crews preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to lead while still working alongside the crew
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Comfortable towing trailers and operating tools and equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors in Houston weather
• Ability to perform physical work and lift approximately 50–75 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic smartphone skills for photos, documentation, and communication
• Ability to identify problems and make reasonable field decisions
• Professional communication skills

This is a hands-on position with a variety of outdoor work. One day may involve landscaping, another may include property cleanup, temporary fencing, pressure washing, storm preparation, or general maintenance.

Experience is helpful but not required. We’re willing to train someone who is dependable, works hard, follows instructions, and wants to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Commercial property cleanup and litter or debris removal
• Mowing, edging, trimming, and landscape maintenance
• Pressure washing and exterior cleaning
• Temporary fence installation, resetting, and removal
• Vacant property cleanup and securing
• Storm preparation and post-storm cleanup
• Minor exterior repairs and general property maintenance
• Load and unload tools, equipment, materials, and trailers
• Assist with equipment setup and breakdown
• Take before-and-after photographs of completed work
• Follow instructions provided by supervisors and TPK management
• Help maintain tools, vehicles, trailers, and equipment
• Assist crews and subcontractors on larger projects

Experience

Previous experience is helpful but not required. Relevant backgrounds may include landscaping, construction, general labor, pressure washing, fencing, property maintenance, warehouse work, handyman work, facilities maintenance, or equipment operation.
